Regional Family Planning and Human Reproduction Centre

Regional Family Planning and Human Reproduction Centre (FPHRC) is a subdivision of ZRMIHC, which provides the ambulatory specialized obstetrical and gynecological assistance to the population of our region. FPHRC was founded in 1995. The head of the FPHRC is Yury Benedychuk, obstetrician gynaecologist.

The work in FPHRC is conducted in such directions:

• prenatal diagnostics of innate disorders of development, inherited and chromosomal pathology (ultrasonic and laboratory);
• medico-genetical consultation of adults and children;
• diagnostics and treatment of pathological processes of colli uteri;
• diagnostics and treatment of children and teenagers gynecological diseases;
• diagnostics and treatment of extragenital pathology of pregnant women;
• diagnostics and treatment of unfertility and the usual unmaturing of pregnancy;
• diagnostics and treatment the patients with gynaecological endocrine pathology;
• diagnostics and treatment of premenopause and menopause disorders;
• consultancy, medical\sanitary educational and agitational concerning family planning problems, contraception, sexual education of teenagers.

The medical staff of FPHRC includes obstetrician-gynaecologist, genetics, therapeutist, doctors of ultrasound diagnostics, psychotherapeutist, laboratory assistants.

FPHRC has a laboratory which makes different modern analyses:

• imunofermentative analyses (blood hormones, TORCH-infection, genital infections, markers of chromosomal and innate pathology and other);
• cytogenetical examinations;
• cytological analyses;
• chromatografical examinations (inborn disorders of metabolism) and other.

The doctors of FPHRC provide diagnostic and medical assistance, take part in consultative work in districts and cities of the region, conduct methodological and sanitary elucidational work in the specified directions.
